Two years without writing back in the saddle

Sigh it's been a long time since I've written anything let's face it, I kinda failed again. Life got busy and my life got consumed with work, family emergencies, starting my own business and lastly having a precious beautiful baby boy, Patrick Stuart Zollo. While he is upstairs napping finally I'm able to sit down and write out my thoughts on where I stand creatively. He's 9 months old and wow does time fly, onward.

West Lake has come to a close I have a few things to wrap up but it's over it's done with. I don't have the time to write it anymore let alone be in control of it, plan out each season and then write over 20 characters on my own. Did I mention the site upkeep and the time it takes to just do that!? I just don't as a full time mom between baby and running my home business I maybe get about 5 hours of free time a day. So here is the lowdown on what you all can expect me to do writing wise this year and next.

I am writing another series it is a co-written one with Chris Coleman the series will premiere in September. People are going to ask why I made that decision see above. I love writing it is my outlet and my passion I love webseries, but I can't do it on my own. I even got someone else to WP design and code the new site and can I say that has lifted a huge weight. Production has started and I can finally say I'm comfortable again and not overwhelmed.

Second I'm working on my novel finally. Bits and pieces I'm going to do it finally, I'm going to commit probably in November for novel writing month I want to put myself out there finally. It's been a long time coming and I need to do it for myself. My husband and a few close friends have really encouraged me over the last few months to get back into what I love to do. So I'm going to do it go all out and see what happens.

My status at OSN (formerly APN), sadly after a lot of thought and juggling I've parted ways with the network. I don't have the time to add that onto my plate with all the commitment that it requires. Again it comes down to what is best for me and my family and that is my focus at home and writing when I can and producing when I can. Writing as I have discovered over the last month with a squirmy, babbling, talking 9 month old (turned that yesterday) is a ton of work and I really can't do it when he is up or focus on it. I'll take what I can and when but really could you say no to this.....I'm pretty biased but he's stinkin' cute.

For now I'll leave you all with that the next update will be when we have the site done and up, along with a preview. Or when I feel like sharing again where I am at.
